About the Role
Bassett Furniture is seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Store Manager to lead their team. This role requires a passion for driving sales, partnering with the team on design projects, and fostering strong customer relationships. Store Managers are key to the success of the company's philosophy, beginning and ending with their leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage a sales/design team.
- Train, develop, and coach team members in sales, product knowledge, and design.
- Establish, develop, and maintain customer relationships.
- Interpret profit/loss statements, KPI metrics, and general sales reports.
- Manage daily store operations while achieving monthly sales and gross profit goals.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of retail experience, preferably in home furnishings.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
