About the Role
The Director, Strategic Partnerships is a key contributor to the success of the Strategic Partnership team, working closely with the SVPs to develop and implement strategic initiatives for high-value clients. This role focuses on operational excellence, strategic planning, and cross-functional execution while also serving as the day-to-day lead for a small portfolio of lower-touch client relationships. The Director supports the delivery of exceptional client outcomes through high-quality deliverables, data-driven insights, and proactive communication.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth client and market assessments to identify key trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Perform detailed competitive analyses to provide insights that inform strategic recommendations.
- Develop case studies showcasing successful client outcomes and innovative strategies.
- Support recurring client meetings and assume day-to-day ownership of assigned lower-touch client relationships while escalating strategic opportunities and complex business matters to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with the SVP to develop and present Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), highlighting key performance metrics and growth opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of client action plans by providing market intelligence and data-driven insights.
- Present routine business updates and reporting to assigned clients while supporting senior leaders on executive-level presentations and strategic discussions.
- Work with internal teams to monitor and manage client budgets, ensuring alignment with financial targets and efficient resource allocation.
- Support the SVP in identifying opportunities for budget optimization and revenue growth.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of Revenue Forecasting and Reporting Tools (RFA/RTEs) to track performance against financial goals.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all client-related financial reporting.
- Collaborate with media teams to ensure all client deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and align with client expectations.
- Regularly review and enhance the quality of client-facing media reports and presentations.
- Develop, maintain, and present client reporting for assigned accounts, ensuring timely, accurate, and actionable insights.
- Coordinate the preparation of Client Report Cards, providing transparent feedback on the quality of service and campaign results.
- Develop compelling case studies that highlight key successes and innovative solutions provided by Evergreen Trading (ET).
- Partner with internal teams to capture and communicate client wins and best practices.
- Support the SVP in identifying and pursuing growth opportunities for clients, including marketplace insights, strategic ideas, and Evergreen capabilities.
- Contribute to the preparation of white papers, thought leadership content, and market POVs to position ET as a strategic leader.
Requirements
- 6+ years in account management, strategy, or client services roles within the media or advertising industry.
- Strong ability to conduct market and competitive analysis and translate data into actionable insights.
- Proven track record in managing multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines.
- Excellent presentation and written communication skills, with experience preparing client-facing reports and documents.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across departments, including media, finance, and client services teams.
- Experience participating in client meetings and managing day-to-day client communications is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop long-term strategies that drive client success.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to proactively work across departments, functions, and teams to align priorities.
- The ability to generate creative, forward-thinking ideas and translate them into practical solutions that create value for the business, clients, or teams.
