About the Role
As a Floor Leader, you will support the Store Management Team by driving sales, opening/closing the store, analyzing sales results, and leading training sessions. You will ensure an exceptional customer experience, a motivated staff, and operational excellence. Your role involves leading sales associates to achieve goals, fostering a positive work environment, and contributing to the company's mission of making the world a better place one soap at a time.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective coaching and feedback to the sales team using StoreForce dashboard results.
- Adjust shop floor structure to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Take ownership of results and grow segment contributions to store sales.
- Celebrate sales achievements with the team.
- Lead by example in delivering a world-class customer experience, including product demonstrations.
- Observe and listen to consultations, collaborate with the team, and strive to exceed daily sales goals.
- Educate customers on Lush brand values and positions on ethical practices.
- Increase product knowledge through continuous learning and make informed product recommendations.
- Train and coach Sales Ambassadors and peers on sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Encourage open communication and actively listen to team members' perspectives on DEIB.
- Foster a sense of belonging by promoting teamwork and valuing employee contributions.
- Manage cash handling, including customer transactions, register operations, and deposit preparation.
- Secure the store at the end of each day and take deposits to the bank as required.
- Lead by example in attendance and punctuality, and encourage the same from all employees.
- Monitor employee breaks to ensure they are taken as scheduled.
- Review daily communications to ensure team members are informed and prepared for shifts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store.
- Train the team on inventory best practices and fresh standards.
- Support management with inventory tasks.
- Make real-time adjustments to product displays based on sales and Visual Merchandising guidelines.
- Support the management team in ensuring store compliance with company standards for operations, product integrity, workplace conduct, and health and safety.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and sales.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cash handling and opening/closing procedures.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in supervisory roles involving coaching, feedback, and training.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in problem-solving customer service issues in day-to-day operations.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-paced team environment.
- Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience with consultation-based customer service models.
- Experience analyzing sales metrics.
- Experience working in skincare or cosmetics.
- Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training.
- Fluency in Spanish, French or other languages.
