About the Role
Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. (Partner) is seeking a candidate to perform field assessments and QA/QC inspections of multiple building systems, including Electrical, Mechanical, Fire & Life Safety, and/or Structural components to ensure expected use of life specifications. This position requires extensive travel to client project sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform regional travel to conduct on-site physical building assessments.
- Collect and document data using various resources as directed by program needs.
- Identify deficiencies, hazards, or non-compliant issues and recommend corrective/remediation actions.
- Prepare proprietary reports summarizing findings, including specific photographs and supporting documentation.
- Communicate site visit results and compliance issues to key stakeholders.
- Adhere to all company safety standards.
- Adhere to the company travel policy, including submitting timely and accurate expense reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university is preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in property condition assessments is preferred.
- Experience in MEP trades, home inspections, or facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Motor vehicle background check must show no serious traffic violations, no criminal motor vehicle convictions, and no moving violations demonstrating disregard for safe operation.
- Excellent communication and writing skills are required, with the ability to communicate technical issues in written reports to clients with limited technical understanding.
