About the Role
As a Store Team Member at Pet Supplies Plus, you’ll be passionate about people and their pets, providing exceptional, neighborly service. You will engage with customers, assist with product selection, handle transactions, and care for store animals, all while embodying a fun and knowledgeable approach to pet ownership.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, neighborly service to customers and their pets.
- Assist neighbors in selecting appropriate products, such as toys, food, and harnesses.
- Educate customers on pet ownership and care.
- Stock shelves and process customer purchases accurately and efficiently.
- Care for store animals, including feeding and cleaning habitats.
- Unload delivery trucks safely using proper equipment.
- Carry purchases to customers' cars.
- Promote Preferred Pet Club memberships.
- Support team members by providing backup assistance when needed.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years or older.
- Must pass a drug screening (in applicable states).
- Ability to lift 40-65 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
