About the Role

The Legends Development Fellows will assist the Player Operations department, focusing on either Player Engagement or the NFL Legends Community. Fellows will play a key role in executing programming for Player Engagement and Legends.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with encouraging NFL Legends to download the Players Community App and promote its benefits and resources.
  • Monitor the NFL Legends inbox and respond to inquiries.
  • Develop new engagement strategies for teams and Legends.
  • Assist with preparations for the annual Legends Community Welcome Webinar.
  • Provide on-site support at select Legends Community events.
  • Support the administration of the Legends Community Coaches Network.
  • Assist with planning and executing Player Engagement meetings and events, including the Player Engagement Annual Meeting, Workshops, Social Justice Town Halls, Super Bowl Activations, and Career Tours.
  • Support the Player Engagement Monthly Newsletter.
  • Provide feedback on programs and initiatives using NFL experience.
  • Assist in recruiting participants for workshops and initiatives.
  • Track and report club degree verifications.
  • Update Player Engagement resources on the Player Portal.
  • Assist with the administration and recruitment for NFL Player Engagement programs for players and Legends.
  • Design PowerPoint presentations for Player Engagement initiatives and meetings.
  • Provide operational on-site support at select NFL tent pole events.
  • Assist with developing presentations and lookbooks for events.
  • Undertake additional projects and ad-hoc opportunities as requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 0-2+ years of experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Effective interpersonal skills for cross-organizational communication
  • Ability to manage individuals with diverse interests and skill sets
  • Maintain autonomy on select projects and integrate internal parties as needed
  • May require standing for long periods and heavy lifting at NFL events
  • Requires travel 20% of the year, including select major NFL events
  • Requires working 40 hours per week in the office
  • May require work on select weekends and holidays
