About the Role
We are seeking dependable, professional, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Retail Security Officers at a busy retail location in Yonkers, NY. Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible security presence throughout your assigned area
- Monitor customer and employee activity to help prevent theft and policy violations
- Observe and report suspicious behavior or security concerns
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist visitors when needed
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Complete accurate activity and incident reports
- Support store management by enforcing site policies and procedures
- Help create a safe and positive environment for customers and employees
Requirements
- Valid NYS Security Guard License preferred
- Previous security, retail, customer service, or related experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the shift
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
