About the Role

Join our Global Merchandising team to conduct detailed analysis, accurate forecasting, and allocation management to ensure the best possible range for our Global partners. A significant focus will be on analyzing sales and stocks using WSSI and Line Projections, recommending actions to optimize sales, and managing sales, promotions, and price changes to drive profit.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough detailed analysis, accurate forecasting, and allocation management.
  • Report on weekly trade and provide detailed information for Planning meetings.
  • Review sales and stocks regularly using WSSI and Line Projections.
  • Recommend actions to ensure correct intake to potentialize sales.
  • Work closely with merchandising and buying teams.
  • Manage weekly to-do lists for merchandising and buying teams.
  • Ensure trade actions are implemented.
  • Ensure distribution plans are carried out.
  • Manage sale, promotions, and price changes.
  • Monitor the effect of sales, promotions, and price changes on intake margin and gross margin.

Requirements

  • Confident using Excel.
  • Commercial understanding of the customer and brand.
  • Experience of allocation and understanding of stock management.
  • Experience of line cards, forecasting, and updating a WSSI.
  • Takes accountability.
  • Confident in deputising in Merchandisers absence.
  • Ability to identify opportunities or risk to profit and take required action.
  • Keeps up to date with market trends and their effects on business.
  • Passion for the product and good understanding of trends.
  • Ability to be a vocal member of the team with an opinion in meetings.
