About the Role
The Marlene Meyerson Jewish Community Center in Manhattan is seeking dedicated part-time Massage Therapists to join their Wellness team, focusing on delivering high-quality therapeutic services and building community connections.
Responsibilities
- Provide 25, 55, and 85-minute massage sessions including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal modalities.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs and goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment room between sessions and at the end of each shift.
Requirements
- Valid New York State Massage Therapy License.
- 6 months-1 year of proven massage therapist experience.
- Strong ability to attract new clients and build long-term relationships, generate new business and retain clients.
- In-depth understanding of anatomy, physiology, and human movement.
- Comfortable using computers and basic digital tools.
- Good communication and positive energy.
- Ability to stand, sit, push, and pull as required.
