About the Role
DH Glabe & Associates is seeking a structural engineer to join their team, offering a variety of project types and niches within structural engineering. This role involves performing structural design and investigation of heavy civil structures and/or large commercial structures, taking projects from inception to completion.
Responsibilities
- Design, engineering, and drafting
- Client relations
- Project inspections and site meetings
- Managing all tasks involved in taking a project from inception to completion
- Performing 60% engineering & calculations, 30% drafting, and 10% field/site visits
Requirements
- Civil/Structural or related Engineering degree from an accredited institution
- 2+ years minimum post-graduation experience working for a professional engineering firm
- E.I. or P.E. license
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2016 or later version
- Experience with Risa 2D/3D or similar
- Solidworks or similar FEA experience is a big plus
