About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Perform all MRI examinations scheduled.
  • Ensure all safety measures are strictly adhered to in accordance with MRI safety standards.
  • Responsible for images being properly sent to PACS for physician review.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all written and electronic information and observe patient rights.
  • Maintain a positive work environment by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with co-workers, patients, physicians and management.
  • Perform safe MRI examinations.
  • Ensure patient safety within the MRI suite.
  • Check daily MRI schedule to ensure all prescriptions are ready for the next day.
  • Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner that gets along with patients, clients, co-workers, and management.
  • Perform all other duties assigned by the Director of Radiology.

Requirements

  • Prior high-field MRI experience in a hospital and/or radiology center.
  • Radiologic Technology degree minimum.
  • RT and/or MRI license.
  • ARRT registered.
