About the Role

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests and team members at a luxury retail location. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service to clients and guests at a luxury retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor customer, employee, and vendor activity and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security-related concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and escalating concerns as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout sales areas, stockrooms, entrances, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter theft and unauthorized access.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while presenting a professional appearance and service-oriented demeanor.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
