About the Role
The Travel Inventory Associate will travel with the team weekly to customer locations across their region, scanning barcodes for current inventory to provide customers with data for better business decisions. Drivers are responsible for safely transporting team members to and from inventory events, adhering to traffic laws and safety requirements, and conducting vehicle inspections.
Responsibilities
- Scan the barcodes for the current inventory at customer locations.
- Provide customers with proper inventory information.
- Safely transport team members to and from inventory events in a timely manner.
- Adhere to traffic laws and WIS driver safety requirements.
- Conduct and complete vehicle inspections, maintenance, and daily cleaning.
Requirements
- Ability to stay in hotels up to 4 nights per week, at employer expense, includes out-of-state travel.
- No previous inventory experience is necessary.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license within the state of residence for a minimum of 36 consecutive months.
- A minimum of three (3) years of proven driving experience.
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment investigative consumer report, pre-employment screening and MVR check.
- Familiarity with GPS devices and how to navigate to assigned locations.
- Availability to work flexible schedules with varying hours, including early mornings and/or late nights.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time with occasional walking.
- Ability to use both hands and wrists for repetitive motions.
- Ability to frequently be in low level positions, such as squatting, kneeling, or crouching.
- Ability to frequently use a ladder.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to frequently travel via car and occasionally via plane, including overnight stays (3-5 days a week).
