Responsibilities
- Package and prepare products for shipment according to instructions, including coordinating delivery schedules with trucking companies.
- Ensure parts are clean before packaging.
- Receive products and materials from vendors, customers, and subsidiaries.
- Occasionally drive and deliver parts between plants or buildings.
- Ensure proper labeling and packaging to meet contractual requirements and complete necessary documentation before and after shipments.
- Maintain material traceability by verifying vendor documentation and marking materials with trace numbers.
- Manage material movement throughout the shop.
- Perform inventory stocking.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED preferred, or demonstrated ability to understand and apply work instructions and perform basic math.
- Background in shipping and receiving is preferred.
- Must be able to utilize computers and computer systems.
- This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
