About the Role
Mobile Associates (MA) act as brand ambassadors, building excitement for T-Mobile products and services. This learning role prepares associates for advancement to Mobile Expert by developing expertise in customer needs and technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Serve customers and build loyalty by assisting with their shopping journey, exploring individual needs, and providing hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology.
- Offer personalized solutions beyond basic device and service plans, including accessories and IoT devices.
- Approach service and sales with composure, integrity, and compassion.
- Utilize digital tools to demonstrate network coverage and the benefits of T-Mobile plans and services.
- Complete training on T-Mobile's in-store experience, new skills, processes, systems, and resources.
- Maximize shift time by seeking information on wireless and technology innovations between customer interactions.
- Partner with T-Mobile employees across channels to collectively own the customer experience, resolve issues, and create a seamless environment.
- Identify and hand off small business leads.
- Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail environment preferred.
- Passionate customer advocate with the desire to be yourself when connecting and having fun doing it.
- Competitive drive and proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learning and sharing ideas, while serving customers and providing resolutions to issues.
- Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals.
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.

- Annualized incentive target of $18,000/year for Mobile Expert role
- Guaranteed to earn $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives
