About the Role

The Analyst OR Senior Associate, Capital Markets role is crucial for executing and managing QTS’ long-term liquidity forecasting, financing, and capital market activities, directly influencing our long-term financial strategy. This position offers significant interaction with executive leadership and Blackstone, QTS’ majority owner. You will be an integral part of a small, dynamic team supporting rapid company growth.

Responsibilities

Supports the VP, Capital Markets in managing the execution and administration of QTS’ financing and capital markets activities.
Contributes to the long-term financial strategy of the Company.
Provides analytical support for financing transactions and liquidity management through financial modeling, preparation of investor presentations, due diligence support, and lender/investor engagement.
Manages transaction processes, interacting with bankers, lawyers, external consultants, and other stakeholders.
Builds underwriting, financing, and liquidity models to evaluate and execute complex asset-level and corporate-level financing structures.
Works with QTS senior management and Blackstone to execute capital raising.
Supports due diligence efforts and the investor relations function for QTS’ lending relationships.
Synthesizes large amounts of data to quickly arrive at reasonable conclusions.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in corporate, investment banking, or capital markets at a top-tier financial institution or relevant in-house experience.
Experience executing financial transactions such as credit facilities, mortgage-secured loans, and securitization.
Advanced proficiency in analytical and financial modeling, including the ability to build comprehensive integrated financial statements from scratch.
Ability to organize teams, lead internal outreach, and project manage inputs from various stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
Strong understanding of real estate capital markets.
Data center industry experience is desirable.
