About the Role
Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our Photo Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving wafer fabrication processes, identifying complex problems, monitoring trends, assessing results, and implementing solutions to drive yield enhancement and customer quality product.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to in-line issues in the wafer fabrication photo process, ensuring timely disposition of wafers.
- Qualify wafer fabrication photo processes on advanced tools.
- Attention to detail and very clear communication with the confidence to escalate any unknowns or issues.
- Analyze data using software tools to identify trends and inform processing decisions.
- Adjust process parameters as needed and monitor equipment performance after maintenance.
- Executes change point management on Photo processes / equipment
- Continuously update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to assure a quality clear result.
- Work hours: A Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45am – 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays.
Requirements
- Two-year technical degree, equivalent military experience, and/or 5+ years direct applicable Photo semiconductor experience in high volume manufacturing environment.
- Successful candidates will be detail and task oriented and place high value on customer service, teamwork and flexibility.
- Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and technical documents.
