About the Role
BASIS Independent Brooklyn Upper School is seeking a qualified Curriculum Coordinator Assistant to provide support services to the Curriculum Coordinator, faculty, and staff. This role involves aiding in the management of internal software systems for student schedules, teacher substitutes, and assessment administration. The ideal candidate enjoys data-based problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain student schedules with the Curriculum Coordinator.
- Manage records of teacher substitutions and activities.
- Assist with the coordination of curriculum and assessment processes.
- Support project management for external exam administration, including creating schedules.
- Coordinate assessment administration of external exams.
- Perform database management of student information systems.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and XLOOKUP functions.
- Student Supervision.
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
- Ability to frequently walk, stand, sit, squat, stoop, reach, kneel, rise from the floor, twist, listen, read, write, and speak English.
- Ability to often carry, lift, use repetitive or fine hand movements, and occasionally push, pull, or bend.
- Ability to regularly hear and use clear vision with or without correction.
