About the Role

The Rehoming Support Officer provides operational and tactical support to colleagues across the Rehoming department, focusing on improving day-to-day systems and processes for the network of rehoming centers. This role delivers specialist events, cultivates continuous improvement, and ensures centers are equipped, providing efficient and effective support for center teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, organize, and deliver Rehoming department events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Proactively identify and suggest opportunities for continuous improvement of existing processes in rehoming centers.
  • Assist the Rehoming Support Manager with the transition of pilot programs into business-as-usual ways of working.
  • Provide support with the procurement of key equipment for the rehoming centers.
  • Act as a point of contact for rehoming operational matters in the absence of the Rehoming Support Manager.
  • Create and manage appropriate interdepartmental communications.
  • Update, maintain, and produce branded materials for the Rehoming department in collaboration with appropriate colleagues.
  • Manage queries in the shared inbox, raise purchase requests, and action good receipts.

Requirements

  • Experience in a busy team support role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience in event organization, including major conferences and meetings.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relations with colleagues at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and confident in managing a varied workload.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining administrative processes and procedures.
