About the Role

Join our dynamic banking team and lead with excellence! As the Assistant Branch Manager, you will support the Branch Manager in orchestrating seamless branch operations, fostering a trusted environment, and elevating the customer experience. Responsibilities

  • Step into the Branch Manager’s shoes during their absence, managing staff, and maintaining smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Oversee Head Teller and Teller teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Build a strong branch identity, promote sales initiatives, and champion exceptional customer service.
  • Personally connect with clients and prospects, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring satisfaction aligns with our high standards.
  • Review and approve transactions such as large check cashing, bank checks, and ledger entries, while maintaining strict adherence to policies.
  • Strive to meet and exceed branch performance metrics, focusing on operational controls, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Continually enhance banking acumen and sales techniques through training, workshops, and ongoing education.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proven supervisory and leadership experience
  • Strong customer service background
  • Cash handling expertise
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English; bilingual a plus
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Well-organized and adept at managing multiple priorities
  • Team-oriented with the ability to thrive in collaborative environments
  • Ability to lift 10–20 lbs., stand for extended periods.
