About the Role
This position supports the global accounting, shared services (AP/AR), tax, and finance teams through project-based work, including parental leave backfills and month-end close support. The role requires a detail-oriented, agile candidate comfortable providing hands-on support, understanding foundational accounting, and assisting with existing processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist with invoicing, freight and inventory processing, and accounts receivable/payable functions
- Assist with accounts payable system implementations
- Manage daily operational accounting for Mass Retail and DTC channels
- Assist in the monthly close, including performing reconciliations, creating adjusting journal entries, and analyzing margin
- Analyze month-over-month and year-over-year changes in month-end balances and results
- Build strong relationships within the accounting and finance teams, and work cross-functionally to support business needs
- Assist in completing special projects, such as AI and automation projects, and SOX readiness
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in an accounting or audit function
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX
- Advanced Excel skills
- Accountable and proactive, willing to roll up your sleeves and are 100% reliable
- Enjoy an entrepreneurial atmosphere that requires working alongside the team and being comfortable in a lean environment
- Strong analytical skills and ability to dive deep into solving problems and data inconsistency
- A track record of successful team collaboration
