About the Role
As a Fabricator and Repairs Specialist I, you will cut, trim, file, bend, and smooth plastic and resin components using fabrication techniques. You will join a production team where every repair you make ships out to collision repair shops across the country. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy practical, hands-on problem-solving and want to build real repair skills.
Responsibilities
- Inspect each part and diagnose the required repair.
- Set up with the right tools and materials to bring the part back to insurance-quality standard.
- Work plastic and resin components by hand to correct shape, fit, and finish.
- Run every repaired part through quality control before it moves to the next station.
- Follow assembly and safety procedures on every job.
- Contribute ideas to the team on better ways to repair and improve parts.
- Keep the work area safe and hazard-free.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to catch defects and imperfections before a part ships.
- Ability to stand, stay focused, and work with hands through a full 8-10 hour shift.
- Willingness to pick up new repair techniques from teammates and trainers.
