About the Role
As a Southern Star technician, you will be a technology ambassador, enhancing the way customers interact with technology. You will be responsible for installing DISH systems, upselling products and services, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Successfully upsell products and services to customers while installing DISH systems.
Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to scale ladders up to 38 ft and navigate crawl spaces.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time (lodging and per diem covered by SSI).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Effective time management skills.
- Must have a clear Background, Drug Screen and Motor Vehicle Record

Salary/Compensations
- $17.00 per hour base pay
- $20.00 per hour guaranteed rate upon completion of training through first 9 months
- First-Year Potential: Earn between $50,000 - $60,000 or more
- Experienced Technicians: Earn between $60,000 - $85,000+ annually
