About the Role

Landscape and maintain grounds using hand or power tools and equipment. Responsibilities include sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, and sprinkler repair and installation.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with principles of Servant Leadership and demonstrate understanding within six months.
• Clean and maintain grounds, including mowing, trimming, edging, and debris removal.
• Perform quality checks on grounds and irrigation systems.
• Maintain machinery and equipment through preventive care and minor adjustments.
• Record lawn care services, materials used, and charges incurred.
• Provide weekly reports on groundskeeper orders and assigned maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all methods and procedures are conducted safely, including handling fertilizers, chemicals, and tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform simple math computations.
• Ability to bend and lift 35 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 7 hours per 8-hour shift).
• Adhere to work assigned schedule.
• Previous experience handling and operating commercial lawn equipment preferred.
• Ability to work independently.
• Post offer background check is required.
