About the Role

The Senior Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of 30-35 Supportive Apartments and ISS Apartments for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who function more independently. This role provides leadership, vision, and direction in client services, program development, fiscal management, regulatory compliance, physical plant management, and program staffing.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as liaison with DD programs for oversight of yearly-required trainings.
  • Act as liaison with other agency training entities to ensure continuity of training support.
  • Manage logistic matters related to the Department’s use of Training Rooms.
  • Maintain and disseminate all training documentation as per agency guidelines.
  • Provide Pre-service training to HeartShare DD employees.
  • Provide CPR Training to HeartShare DD employees.
  • Provide SCIP training to HeartShare DD employees.
  • Provide Autism Overview and other online training to HeartShare DD employees.
  • Deliver in-person and hybrid onsite training to HeartShare DD employees.
  • Utilize MS Teams, MS Office 365 Suite, and multimedia applications to develop training content.
  • Make and file copies of training records.
  • Disseminate all training documentation as per agency guidelines.
  • Serve as a role model for trainees.
  • Remain responsive to the cultural needs of individuals receiving support and HeartShare employees.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma.
  • Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a residential program.
  • Five years of experience in developmental disabilities or a related field.

Skills

  • Use of MS Teams and MS Office 365 Suite
  • Multimedia applications

Salary/Compensations

  • $82,500.00 - $82,500.00
