About the Role
Own procurement of long-lead items, including LFP cells, inverters, generators, and container and structural hardware. Build the supplier base, negotiate contracts, and manage lead times, purchase orders, and deliveries. Plan material against the build and delivery schedule, flagging risks early, and maintain accurate bills of materials, costs, and inventory.
Responsibilities
- Run procurement or supply chain for hardware, ideally low-volume, high-mix, or new product introduction.
- Manage and negotiate with suppliers.
- Read bills of materials and work directly with engineers.
Requirements
- Experience sourcing batteries, power equipment, or steel and aluminum fabrication.
- Background in defense procurement, DFARS, or ITAR-aware sourcing.
- Track record of establishing MRP or ERP at an early-stage company.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
