About the Role
Helio Health is dedicated to treating and promoting recovery from substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. The Physician Assistant (PA) will manage and coordinate services for individuals in our treatment programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide management and coordination of services to service recipients/residents.
- Work independently under administrative supervision and medical/clinical supervision.
- Engage with patients, agency staff, volunteers, community agencies, and other healthcare providers.
- Deliver direct patient care including medical examinations, monitoring, implementing medical orders, and diagnosing/treating medical conditions.
- Participate in special review and quality assurance committees.
- Provide and document medical consultation, assessment, examination, and treatment planning.
- Undertake other related assignments consistent with training and experience.
Requirements
- Must be a licensed Physician Assistant registered by the NYS Education Department.
- Minimum of one year of experience or comparable training in treating substance abuse and/or dependency.
- Possess prescriptive authority and a DEA number.

- $70.00 - $77.00 per hour
