About the Role

Helio Health is dedicated to promoting recovery from substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral health issues. The Guest Services/Security position is crucial for ensuring the safety of patients, residents, and employees at the Insights of Helio Health program in Utica, NY.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel and visitors.
• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance equipment.
• Inspects buildings, equipment, and access points.
• Sounds alarms in emergency situations and responds to provide necessary assistance.
• Responds to patient/resident inquiries and requests to resolve issues promptly.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policies, and restraining trespassers.
• Directs traffic.
• Ensures equipment operation by completing preventative maintenance.
• Completes security reports through observation, data collection, witness interviews, and obtaining statements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a valid NYS Driver's License.
• New York State Licensed Unarmed Security Guard Card preferred.
• Minimum of two years security experience preferred.
