About the Role
Helio Health is dedicated to promoting recovery from substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral health issues. The Guest Services/Security position is crucial for ensuring the safety of patients, residents, and employees at the Insights of Helio Health program in Utica, NY.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel and visitors.
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance equipment.
- Inspects buildings, equipment, and access points.
- Sounds alarms in emergency situations and responds to provide necessary assistance.
- Responds to patient/resident inquiries and requests to resolve issues promptly.
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policies, and restraining trespassers.
- Directs traffic.
- Ensures equipment operation by completing preventative maintenance.
- Completes security reports through observation, data collection, witness interviews, and obtaining statements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must possess a valid NYS Driver's License.
- New York State Licensed Unarmed Security Guard Card preferred.
- Minimum of two years security experience preferred.
