About the Role
Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, seeks a Marketing Specialist to advance the firm’s brand within the Phoenix market. This role supports marketing, business development, and communication initiatives, working closely with the Director of Marketing and Business Development and other professionals.
Responsibilities
- Works directly with office leadership, attorneys, directors and managers to strategically drive the firm’s marketing goals in the Phoenix market.
- Develops relationships with attorneys to serve as point of contact for day-to-day requests and marketing and business development needs.
- Organizes and hosts client-facing and community events, managing all aspects from concept to budget evaluation.
- Handles directory submissions including Chambers and others.
- Strategizes with shareholders on responses to RFPs and proposals, including market research and drafting responses.
- Helps prepare data for nominations, media surveys and reports.
- Writes, edits and distributes marketing materials, newsletters, conference materials, client updates, website content and other client communications.
- Makes recommendations for and supports office sponsorships, memberships and event attendance.
- Works with the firmwide marketing team on client-facing and internal marketing materials for Phoenix.
- Imparts knowledge of the Phoenix market, including the business community and key charitable and civic organizations.
- Assists with and manages a variety of short and long-term projects and attorney requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Four to six years of relevant experience in marketing or business development.
- Experience at a law firm or other professional services firm is preferred.
- High proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook required.
- Demonstrates a basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), including core capabilities, limitations, and importance of data privacy, accuracy, verification, and ethical considerations within a professional services environment.
- Willingness to grow knowledge of AI platforms.
- Proactive approach to learning and adapting to emerging AI and related technologies.
- Contributes to a culture of innovation.
