About the Role

We are seeking an energetic, organized, and service-driven Spa Coordinator to support and lead the daily operations of our luxurious spa, with the experience and leadership mindset to quickly advance into a spa leadership role. This position blends front-desk coordination, retail and sales support, facility upkeep, and spa attendant responsibilities to create an exceptional and relaxing environment for every guest.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service from arrival through departure
  • Manage appointment bookings using POS and scheduling systems, confirming reservations and coordinating staff availability
  • Provide non-licensed spa services, including mineral bath experiences, while maintaining exceptional guest care, safety standards, and service protocols
  • Ensure excellent phone etiquette when scheduling appointments or responding to guest inquiries
  • Coordinate guest flow to maintain on-time services and a seamless spa experience
  • Assist with VIP requests, special occasions, and special events
  • Address guest concerns professionally and escalate to Spa Management when necessary
  • Support and oversee daily spa operations, ensuring all areas are clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready
  • Escort guests to lounges, locker rooms, and fitness spaces as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of locker rooms, lounges, treatment rooms, restrooms, and fitness center
  • Stock and replenish towels, linens, robes, amenities, and retail displays
  • Serve and clean up food and beverage offerings in accordance with spa standards
  • Monitor guest areas for safety, cleanliness, and comfort, reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptly
  • Open and close the spa according to established policies and procedures
  • Assist guests with retail purchases and provide knowledgeable product recommendations
  • Confidently upsell spa services, enhancements, memberships, and retail merchandise
  • Maintain retail inventory by stocking products, tracking inventory levels, and merchandising displays
  • Accurately process payments, handle cash, and complete daily financial and POS reports
  • Assist with staff scheduling coordination and daily operational needs
  • Support Spa Management with administrative tasks and required spa documentation
  • Communicate effectively with Spa Management, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments
  • Foster a welcoming, professional atmosphere through strong communication and teamwork
  • Uphold luxury service standards, spa etiquette, and brand values at all times

Requirements

  • Proven experience in spa, hospitality, retail sales, or customer service environment
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and cash handling protocols
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual abilities are a plus
  • Knowledge of merchandising techniques, upselling strategies, and stock replenishment processes
  • Excellent phone etiquette with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the spa for extended periods
  • Willingness to obtain Food Handlers and TABC Certificates
