About the Role
This role is responsible for welcoming, greeting, and seating guests, ensuring their needs are met while they wait, and maintaining a professional demeanor to support overall guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously with a smile.
- Seat guests according to management's assignment.
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication.
- Answer phones and provide requested information or arrange bookings.
- Clear and reset tables, and assist with opening tasks.
- Handle guest complaints and special requests if asked.
- Manage coat check area, including receiving, organizing, and issuing items.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
- Follow opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain a professional demeanor with all staff.
- Assist staff with service steps, such as food delivery.
- Be accessible to staff and guests for questions.
- Follow service steps based on the training manual and communicate them to staff.
Requirements
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Personal cleanliness.
- Basic food handling, preparation, and cleaning skills are welcomed.
- Ability to communicate and understand direction in English for workplace safety.
- Ability to understand, respond, and engage with co-workers, managers, and guests in English.
- Time management and ability to work under pressure.

- Reading and speaking comprehension skills.
- Discipline to follow set standards.
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
- Must submit satisfactory proof of employment authorization and identity to complete Form I-9 within 72 hours of commencing work.
