About the Role

Eagle Rock Properties is seeking a Jr Project Manager to support our Albany Portfolio. This role assists with all vacant apartment capital improvement renovations, ensuring projects are completed in accordance with projected timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Corporate Construction Coordinator to provide necessary information for completing the 'Rent Managers' scope of work.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of material orders.
• Assign appropriate vendors and suppliers for each renovation project.
• Develop a detailed action plan for vacancy renovations.
• Monitor renovation progress to ensure timelines are adhered to and resolve any issues causing delays.
• Serve as the primary liaison between contractors and Eagle Rock.
• Track and document renovation progress through regular reporting and photographic updates.
• Ensure renovation budgets align with parameters set by Asset Management and secure approvals for out-of-scope work.
• Participate in weekly conference calls with relevant parties to maintain clear communication.
• Oversee quality control throughout the renovation process.
• Review and approve related invoices in AVID.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of project management experience in a leadership role
• In-depth general construction knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure systems
• Highly organized
• Candidate with knowledge of local vendors preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Bilingual is a plus
