About the Role

Presidio is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Associate Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is designed as a growth path to build on foundational Cisco routing and switching skills and develop into a full Implementation Engineer, capable of independently deploying enterprise network solutions. You will provide technical support on project-based work, including the planning, design, and implementation of Enterprise Networks, WAN connectivity, and Security solutions. You will gain hands-on engineering experience, sharpen configuration and troubleshooting skills, and receive training to support professional certifications.

Responsibilities

Assist with the planning, design, and implementation of enterprise network solutions, WAN connectivity, and security solutions for clients.
Perform basic configuration of Cisco routing and switching equipment.
Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for network infrastructure and security systems.
Work closely with senior engineers and consultants to deliver solutions.
Participate in a structured mentorship program designed to accelerate growth into an Implementation Engineer role.
Participate in a comprehensive program of hands-on engineering projects and training for technical certifications (e.g., CCNP, PCNSE, NSE4).
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentation and network diagrams for networks, configurations, and security protocols.
Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies, best practices, and security trends.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Some hands-on configuration experience with Cisco routing and switching.
Understanding of core networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching).
Familiarity with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
CCNA certification.
Ability to create and maintain clear network diagrams and technical documentation.
Basic troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and help resolve common network issues.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
A desire to learn new technologies, acquire certifications, and grow professionally into an Implementation Engineer role.
