About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced digital designer, skilled in visual design for digital surfaces, interface design, and translating branding into memorable online experiences. This role requires a strong understanding of front-end and UX principles, with the ability to manage projects from concept to completion. The designer will be responsible for the direct-to-consumer web experience for Harry's, focusing on visual expression across the website and email presence in close partnership with UX and Product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong digital concepts grounded in brand, UX, and UI, and articulate them clearly.
  • Translate Harry's brand strategy, identity, and visual systems into a distinctive Digital experience across DTC, Amazon, Marketplaces, email, and other interactive touchpoints.
  • Define and evolve the visual design language, storytelling principles, and creative direction for the Harry's brand across our Digital ecosystem.
  • Design digital concepts, prototypes, polished UI, email, digital merchandising, and manage final handoff.
  • Craft brand-led experiences where UI, motion, and content work together, incorporating accessibility and UX from the start.
  • Design with conversion, merchandising, and the customer journey in mind, balancing brand expression with commercial performance.
  • Clearly explain design thinking in presentations, reviews, and stakeholder conversations.
  • Own the quality of work, manage time and priorities, and stay receptive to direction from senior designers.
  • Establish a high bar for digital craft through design critiques, systems thinking, and mentorship of junior designers.
  • Partner closely with Brand Creative, UX, Product, Engineering, and Brand Marketing to ensure brand storytelling and visual execution align with customer experience and commercial goals.
  • Contribute to a team culture built on critique, iteration, and care for craft.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in digital design, product design, or a related field (agency, in-house brand, or e-commerce).
  • Portfolio showcasing end-to-end digital work (concept, UX, UI, visual design, interaction, prototyping).
  • Proficiency in typography, layout, UI design, interaction design, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to tie design decisions back to business goals and customer needs, and defend them to stakeholders.
  • Experience building and evolving design systems, modular UI, component libraries, and style guides.
  • High proficiency in Figma, including prototyping and interactive workflows.
  • Comfort in modern, collaborative design environments.
  • Experience designing for e-commerce or DTC (Shopify or similar) is a strong plus.
  • Motion or deeper brand experience is a bonus.
