About the Role

RIT Dining serves thousands of students, faculty, and staff daily, creating meaningful moments across campus. Responsibilities

• Assists in developing and implementing shipping and receiving policies to enhance customer experience.
• Provides timely and effective responses to inquiries and concerns from the university community.
• Supports data reporting requirements and maintains accurate databases related to shipping and receiving activities.
• Resolves issues related to the receipt, storage, and organization of goods.
• Receives, organizes, and stores goods in an efficient manner.
• Seeks and implements improvements in shipping and receiving processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• No experience required.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
• The hiring process may require a criminal background check and/or motor vehicle records check.

Skills

• Knowledge of best practices and strategies in shipping and receiving operations.
• Knowledge of managing and maintaining accurate data records and reporting systems.
• Skill in providing exceptional customer service and handling community inquiries and concerns.
• Skill in effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to adapt and implement changes in policy or operational procedures to improve service delivery.
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely processing of all shipping and receiving activities.
