Responsibilities
- Assists in developing and implementing shipping and receiving policies to enhance customer experience.
- Provides timely and effective responses to inquiries and concerns from the university community.
- Supports data reporting requirements and maintains accurate databases related to shipping and receiving activities.
- Resolves issues related to the receipt, storage, and organization of goods.
- Receives, organizes, and stores goods in an efficient manner.
- Seeks and implements improvements in shipping and receiving processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- No experience required.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States.
- The hiring process may require a criminal background check and/or motor vehicle records check.
Skills
- Knowledge of best practices and strategies in shipping and receiving operations.
- Knowledge of managing and maintaining accurate data records and reporting systems.
- Skill in providing exceptional customer service and handling community inquiries and concerns.
- Skill in effective written and verbal communication.
- Ability to adapt and implement changes in policy or operational procedures to improve service delivery.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely processing of all shipping and receiving activities.
