About the Role

Investment Analysts collaborate with Investment Directors to provide investment and capital markets research, analysis, and advice to clients. The role involves quantitative and qualitative analysis, describing market conditions, and relaying investment recommendations in written reports. Analysts gain broad exposure to asset classes and investment strategies, client interactions, and deepen their investment knowledge. Opportunities may exist for specialization in hedge funds or private investments.

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of an investment team to assess investment managers’ portfolios and support client requests and questions.
  • Direct responsibility for 10 to 15 clients.
  • Gather and evaluate historical asset allocation, spending and performance data.
  • Prepare exhibits and other presentation documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (all majors) with a record of high academic achievement, 3.3 GPA minimum.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and prioritization.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in investments and capital markets with eagerness to learn.
  • Interest in innovating and experimenting with new technology, models, and AI-driven systems.
  • Proficient with MS Office suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship or restrictions now or in the future.

  • San Francisco, CA: $88,000 / year
  • Pay Range Minimum: $80,000
  • Pay Range Maximum: $87,000
