About the Role

ACS Group is a privately held company that designs and manufactures auxiliary products for the plastics processing industry. A successful candidate will be responsible for the mechanical and electrical upkeep of the facility, responding to safety-related maintenance questions, and participating in the Hazard Communication Program.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical upkeep of the facility.
• Respond to and fix safety-related maintenance issues.
• Participate in the Hazard Communication Program and Hazard Materials disposal.
• Serve on the safety committee.
• Be on call to respond to building emergencies.
• Research and order parts.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, HVAC, and plumbing issues.
• Repair machinery.
• Write preventative maintenance programs for machines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience with an emphasis on electrician duties.
• Mechanical and electrical experience in an assembly and manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Forklift certified.
