About the Role
A loving family in Riverdale, Bronx, NY seeks an experienced, dependable, and engaging part-time afternoon nanny for their three daughters (ages 1, 4, and 5). This is a long-term role for a caregiver who can become a trusted part of the family's support system, offering attentive, age-appropriate care and engagement.
Responsibilities
- Perform light housekeeping related to the children
- Handle children's laundry
- Prepare meals for the children
- Maintain general organization and tidying
- Transport children from school and daycare using the family-provided car
- Prepare and serve dinner for the children
- Assist with bath and bedtime routines
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Provide attentive, age-appropriate care and engagement
- Update parents on the day's activities
- Collaborate with parents and offer thoughtful suggestions
- Incorporate educational play
Requirements
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Pet-friendly (family has a shepherd-mix dog)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Comfortable driving children
- Ability to adhere to semi-kosher dietary restrictions
- CPR certified
- Legal to work in the U.S.
