About the Role

Monte Nido Clementine Hudson Valley is a residential treatment program for adolescents with eating disorders. We support adolescents and their families in recovery by equipping them with healthy skills and a deep understanding to navigate life without the eating disorder. We are seeking a Primary Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary treatment team.

Responsibilities

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy
• Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers
• Interacting with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
• Participating in discharge and aftercare planning
• Providing therapeutic meal support, while modeling a healthy relationship with food
• Providing safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client and their unique circumstance based on the clients' intersecting identities
• Supporting virtual patient care and telehealth services as needed

Requirements

• Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline, at minimum
• State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
• Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful
• Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices
