About the Role

Helio Health is dedicated to treating and promoting recovery from substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide medical and counseling services as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team within the Inpatient Rehabilitation Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical and counseling services in various clinical settings as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team.
• Deliver client services for medical issues.
• Monitor and document clients' medical status and withdrawal symptoms, reporting to supervisors.
• Collaborate with medical staff for continuity of client care.
• Communicate client medical concerns with clinical staff.
• Provide direct client care, interpret medical information, and perform medical assessments.
• Implement medical orders and report communicable/infectious diseases as required by law.
• Administer public health and screening protocols.
• Provide and document medical consultations, assessments, examinations, and treatment planning consistent with agency policies.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed practical nurse currently registered by the New York State Education Department.
• Experience and/or training in the treatment of substance abuse and/or substance dependency is preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required.

• Evening Shift 4pm-12:30am with alternating weekends

Salary/Compensations

• $24.03 - $27.50 per hour
