About the Role
The Analyst, Technology Portfolio Management supports the efficient execution and optimization of the Technology organization’s processes, tools, and governance. This role ensures alignment of portfolio management standards and best practices across teams while maintaining flexibility for changing business needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and fosters collaborative relationships, managing business tools, supporting process adherence, and driving operational improvements.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and analyzing data for accurate project and portfolio reporting.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for actionable stakeholder insights.
- Support the development, standardization, and documentation of portfolio management processes and workflows.
- Ensure adherence to project standards and governance practices, recommending improvements.
- Manage the operation and administration of Technology Business Tools, including user setup, troubleshooting, and data architecture.
- Collaborate with partners and vendors to ensure optimal tool configuration.
- Support the implementation of updates, integrations, and enhancements to tools and platforms.
- Coordinate Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for Technology and non-Technology teams.
- Evaluate PoC outcomes and provide recommendations for scaling or improving solutions.
- Educate Technology team members on tool functionality, standardized processes, and change management practices.
- Develop and deliver training materials for effective tool utilization.
- Maintain strong working relationships with Project and Portfolio Managers.
- Act as a trusted partner for resolving issues and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Assist in onboarding new team members, ensuring effective tool and process utilization.
- Evaluate onboarding effectiveness and recommend improvements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance tool functionality, and improve process efficiency.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices in portfolio management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or related subject; OR demonstrated capability with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience.
- One (1) year of experience analyzing large data sets.
- Knowledge of SharePoint, Outlook, MS Project, Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments.
- Effectiveness working diplomatically across teams with varying objectives.
- Available for occasional overnight travel (up to 10%).
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
- Authorization to work in the US is required.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
- Regular attendance and punctuality.
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice.
- Able to maintain a professional appearance.
- Must be an appropriate organizational fit for the JetBlue culture.
