About the Role
PNC is seeking a Retail Banking Summer Intern for the Financial Wellness Solutions team. This 10-week program offers exposure to a specific line of business, career development tools, and real-world job experience. The intern will learn about sales, relationship management, and gain in-depth knowledge of PNC's Retail Bank, servicing various segments and potentially working on special projects.
Responsibilities
- Performs or assists in banking activities, including researching clients or prospects.
- Creates and/or calls on targeted calling lists.
- Schedules, attends and/or leads client or prospect appointments.
- Creates presentations and/or proposals.
- Identifies and/or delivers on next steps to move relationships forward.
- Helps build the client base through proactive, outbound quality sales conversations with both organizations and their employees.
- Creates loyalty and deepens relationships through a differentiated client experience.
- Participates in special projects related to the business and its strategic priorities.
- Participates in social learning, including networking with business representatives and peers, and participating in mentoring, job shadowing and community outreach.
- Participates in formal learning to develop the skills needed to excel in the role.
Requirements
- Working toward Bachelor's Degree.
- Sophomore or junior status.
- Minimum GPA 3.0.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Access to reliable transportation for handling local assignments.
