About the Role

The Manager provides day-to-day oversight to a team of content managers, verification team members, and customer service operations associates. This role involves conducting advanced business license research and verifications to develop internal knowledge and support clients. The Manager also develops website content and ensures the knowledge base is presented effectively to a broad audience. In collaboration with technology and product teams, the Manager supports technology-related initiatives for industry knowledge advancement and related products/services, including concept testing, development support, project implementation, and team training.

Responsibilities

  • Sets annual, quarterly, and monthly plans for the development of the internal proprietary database of license information (BL Brain) and delegates responsibility to the team to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Advances the internal BL Brain database by proactively identifying relevant industry changes and developing team assignments for updating industry information.
  • Leads the integration of all knowledge sources, including updates to catalogs of data such as BL Brain, checklists, and web content, and supports future migration of industry information to new platforms.
  • Drives technology-related initiatives surrounding the BL Brain and its applications, including AI-related functionality, in conjunction with IT.
  • Tracks and announces database and technology progress and enhancements to leadership and the company.
  • Synchronizes with all CT BL Teams to recapture data found during order fulfillment.
  • Leads content generation and thought leadership articles for website, podcasts, webinars, and social media in conjunction with Marketing and Sales departments.
  • Monitors industry changes for dissemination to internal and external clients.
  • Oversees the preparation, development, and distribution of Regulator Tracker products and off-the-shelf research products.
  • Partners with the Sales Team to provide subject matter expertise support on sales calls, RFPs, and quotations.
  • Oversees all functions of the Verifications Team and serves as a subject matter expert in verification processes and systems.
  • Ensures complex or sensitive verification tasks are on track and communicates timelines to all impacted parties.
  • Develops KPIs, metrics, and performance standards for the Verifications Team and communicates project statistics to BL leadership.
  • Monitors verifications project deadlines and identifies risks to delivery in conjunction with the Team Lead.
  • Adapts team processes to improve efficiency and scalability and cross-supports other BL teams during volume shifts.
  • Hires, trains, and develops new and existing team members for team growth and development.
  • Develops and monitors employee metrics/key performance indicators for the team.
  • Conducts bi-annual employment reviews and makes recommendations for merit-based promotions.

  • Ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time.

  • $91,400.00 - $160,250.00 USD
