About the Role
Salesforce Professional Services is seeking an Engagement Delivery Director to drive successful customer outcomes with implementations and lead complex, enterprise, and strategic programs of work. This role involves bringing the power of Salesforce to customers across diverse portfolios, including Public Sector, Health & Life Sciences and Business Services.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage large and complex teams, ensuring strong communication and providing clarity, motivation, and direction.
- Own customer, partner, and third-party provider relationships from a delivery perspective.
- Provide leadership, advice, and guidance to ensure ongoing alignment and shared success.
- Build and nurture a high-functioning multi-stakeholder governance framework.
- Perform program and project management activities to ensure adherence to Salesforce methodology and project gates.
- Be fully accountable for program financials, reporting, and delivery health.
- Build and lead program and planning activities, supervise progress, adjust schedules, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Supervise resource utilization in alignment with resource allocation and budget.
- Manage project timesheets, including on-time entry and approvals.
- Effectively manage risks and issues to ensure project success.
- Facilitate requirements gathering and assist with crafting project deliverables and Salesforce documentation.
- Act as an extension to the account team to extend the Salesforce footprint.
Requirements
- +10 years in Program Management leading complex programs of work, with direct responsibility for running teams including teams of Project Managers.
- Ownership/experience of Strategic Governance Frameworks and Risk Management.
- Proven history of delivering high-quality results on schedule and within budget.
- Outstanding and effective interpersonal skills, along with strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment.
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required.
- Available to be onsite with customers as needed.
