About the Role
The Front Office Transformation Manager leads client engagements focused on transforming sales, service, customer success, revenue operations, and customer experience functions. This role serves as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, responsible for leading engagement delivery, managing project teams, developing strategic recommendations, and driving measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong consulting and transformation experience, deep knowledge of customer-facing business functions, experience leading complex client engagements, and the ability to translate business challenges into practical solutions. In addition to delivery leadership, this individual contributes to practice growth through business development, proposal support, thought leadership, and talent development initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead client engagements focused on front office transformation, revenue growth, customer experience improvement, and operating model modernization.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for client leadership teams and build trusted advisor relationships.
- Lead executive workshops, stakeholder interviews, strategy sessions, and solution design discussions.
- Develop and present executive-level recommendations, operating models, transformation roadmaps, business cases, and implementation plans.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and overall client satisfaction.
- Provide oversight across multiple workstreams and ensure successful delivery of engagement objectives.
- Support executive steering committees, governance forums, and key stakeholder communications.
- Lead transformation initiatives across one or more of the following areas: Lead-to-Cash Transformation, Revenue Operations (RevOps), Customer Lifecycle Management, Sales Process Optimization, Commercial Operating Model Design, CRM Transformation, Sales Enablement, Revenue Lifecycle Management, Customer Success Transformation, Service Operations Optimization.
- Lead business process discovery, current-state assessments, and gap analyses.
- Facilitate requirements gathering, process documentation, and functional design activities.
- Translate business needs into actionable recommendations and transformation strategies.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align solutions with intended outcomes.
- Develop executive-ready deliverables, including process maps, operating models, business requirements, roadmaps, status reports, and executive summaries.
- Ensure recommendations are tied to measurable business outcomes and organizational objectives.
- Lead, coach, and mentor consultants and senior consultants across client engagements.
- Review client deliverables and provide guidance to ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with project objectives.
- Manage staffing, workload balancing, resource planning, and team development activities.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, career development, and performance coaching initiatives.
- Help define and evolve consulting methodologies, standards, and best practices.
- Contribute to the growth and scalability of the Front Office Transformation practice.
- Develop reusable methodologies, accelerators, frameworks, and thought leadership assets.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI-enabled solutions and automation to improve client outcomes and delivery effectiveness.
- Collaborate across service lines to develop integrated business and technology solutions.
- Support internal innovation initiatives, market offerings, and go-to-market strategies.
- Support business development efforts including proposals, RFP responses, client pursuits, and solution development.
- Participate in opportunity qualification, solution shaping, and pursuit strategy discussions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships that drive repeat business and long-term growth.
- Identify change-order, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities within active engagements.
- Contribute to market offerings, industry-specific solutions, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Collaborate with practice leaders to achieve growth objectives and expand the Front Office Transformation practice.
Requirements
- 8+ years of consulting, business transformation, revenue operations, commercial strategy, customer transformation, CRM, customer success, or related front office experience.
- Experience leading client-facing transformation engagements from strategy and discovery through implementation planning and execution.
- Strong understanding of sales, marketing, customer success, customer service, revenue operations, and commercial operations functions.
- Demonstrated experience managing project teams, workstreams, timelines, budgets, risks, and client stakeholders.
- Proven ability to develop strategic recommendations and connect operational improvements to measurable business outcomes.
- Experience facilitating executive-level workshops, presentations, and decision-making forums.
- Strong communication, relationship management, problem-solving, and consulting skills.
- Demonstrated success coaching and developing team members in a client service environment.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
