About the Role
The Assistant Category Manager is responsible for assisting the Division in bringing unique and innovative products, within their product category, to market in a timely and profitable manner.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with managing supervisor and support teams on all data entry, set up and maintenance of all items.
- Coordinate with managing supervisor and support teams to ensure the proper product criteria is met.
- Responsible for the data entry, submission and follow up of all art and photography requests.
- Responsible for the data entry, submission and follow up of all design requests and inspections.
- Responsible for understanding and working in all available systems on a daily basis.
- Coordinate with managing supervisor and respond to sales requests regarding product samples, packages, sell sheets, marketing materials, pricing, etc.
- Coordinate with managing supervisor on all samples and packages arriving on a daily basis.
- Coordinate with managing supervisor on all samples and packages to be shipped on a daily basis.
- Maintain, Clean and Organize all showroom and stock room areas.
- Understand full product scope, including all brand offerings and requirements/forms.
- Understand the competitive market place by visiting retail stores quarterly to become familiar with retailer needs and white space opportunities.
Requirements
- Experience with SAP and/or PDS is a plus.
- Experience in Google Suite is a plus.
- Experience with Photoshop, Canva and AI is a Plus.
- Experience in Home Products is a plus.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication, follow up and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to communicate in a clear and professional manner verbally as well as email and chat.
- Must be able to work both independently and on a team in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

- Pay range is provided, with the expectation to hire near the middle of the range.
