About the Role

This role exists to produce the editorial output that earns the attention of sophisticated investors, family offices, and partners by writing content that is bookmark-worthy and shareable. You will own Moonfare’s content slate and lead the editorial agenda, setting the point of view on private markets. The challenge involves a skeptical, expert audience and a regulated product, while the opportunity offers end-to-end ownership of the editorial journey, direct access to investors and the deal pipeline, and the standing to set the terms of the conversation.

Responsibilities

Lead the editorial agenda, driving Moonfare’s point of view on private markets and setting the forward calendar of theses and formats.
Set the standard across the content slate, researching and producing thought leadership, the annual Outlook, research reports, newsletters, website copy, and video and audio scripts.
Translate fund opportunities, market events, and proprietary research into accurate, well-sourced, investor-facing content.
Run the editorial calendar and production engine, owning the pipeline from brief to publication.
Partner across the business to source theses, shape content, support calls, and coordinate with various teams and external agencies.
Hold the line on accuracy and compliance, applying house style and writing within financial-promotions compliance.
Use AI to research, draft, and accelerate content production while maintaining editorial judgment, accuracy, and brand voice.
Track key signals and use them to refine the content slate.

Requirements

6+ years of experience writing and editing investor-facing content with published long-form work.
Experience in or around financial services (asset management, private markets, wealth management, banking, or financial media).
Working understanding of private equity and private markets.
Strong research skills, including gathering, verifying, and synthesizing information from credible sources.
Versatility across content formats including whitepapers, scripts, newsletters, and website copy.
Confidence using AI for research and drafting, with the judgment to oversee final output.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Self-direction to maintain content cadence across formats without compromising quality.
German or French language skills are a plus.
