Responsibilities

• Own and operate a production GitOps deployment API and CLI (TypeScript/Node, NestJS), ensuring reliability and evolving its capabilities.
• Maintain and extend self-service deployment tooling using ArgoCD ApplicationSets and Helm for services on GCP Cloud Run.
• Manage a shared internal TypeScript package ecosystem (Nx monorepo) and the application ingress/edge-routing layer.
• Build high-performance internal tools and APIs in Go (Golang) for infrastructure metadata and lifecycle management.
• Design complex, long-running workflows using durable execution frameworks (e.g., Temporal) for cross-system orchestration.
• Develop and implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and Agentic AI workflows for automated infrastructure configuration management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including building and operating infrastructure, platform, or delivery systems.
• Strong experience in delivery/GitOps tooling (ArgoCD, Helm, GitHub Actions) or backend services & shared libraries at scale.
• Proficiency in Go or TypeScript/JavaScript, with willingness to learn the other.
• Demonstrable understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s), serverless runtimes (GCP Cloud Run), and major cloud providers (GCP, AWS).
• Comfort inheriting and stabilizing unfamiliar, production-critical systems.
