About the Role

Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) designs, develops, and manufactures advanced composite components. Our core strength is producing highly tailored, complex composite components using a unique blend of products including 3D woven structures, traditional and non-traditional 2D composite structures, and discrete through thickness reinforcement technologies. We meet performance and cost specifications beyond the reach of metallic or conventional laminated composites.

Responsibilities

Promotes good relations with community, government agencies and customers.
Manages production supervisors and Associate Managers.
Sets objectives and standards of performance for all employees in his/her department.
Is responsible for bids, monitoring and meeting production budgets.
Initiates and follows through on performance reviews and counseling.
Interface with manufacturing engineering, engineering, quality control, and other support groups to solve production problems.
Meets all company, safety and environmental and good housekeeping guidelines.
Initiates training plan for production managers and supervisors.
Responsible for introduction and startup of new production and products.
Develops capacity.
Interprets and administers policies, processes and procedures that may affect sections and subordinate work areas.
Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives.
Interacts frequently with internal personnel and outside representatives at various levels.
Participates and presents at meetings with internal and external representatives.
Interaction typically concerns resolution of operational and scheduling issues.

Requirements

As a Department of Defense Contractor we are required to hire US Persons.
