About the Role

Become the orchestrator of unforgettable dining experiences as a Banquet Server, dedicated to delivering seamless events where every guest is treated to a symphony of flavors and exceptional hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest's name when possible.
• Anticipate guests' service needs by asking questions and observing preferences.
• Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell.
• Respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests, using brand or property specific processes to resolve issues.
• Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Present and process payments accurately, adhering to all cash handling and credit policies.
• Answer questions on menu selections and check with kitchen staff for clarification.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
• Set tables according to event type and service standards, ensuring supplies meet quality standards.
• Follow appropriate procedures for serving alcohol.
• Record transactions in the system at the time of order.
• Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures.
• Follow company and department policies and procedures.
• Complete closing duties, including storing goods, cleaning equipment, restocking items, and completing the daily cleaning checklist.

Requirements

• Must be able to adhere to timelines in completion of set-ups.
• Must be able to work well under pressure.
• Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written.
• Must be highly detail oriented.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol.
• Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications.
